I recently purchased a Sony Viao notwebook that came with
Microsoft Works 7.0. However, operating with this system
was tedious so I have recently purchased a Microsoft
Office Student and Teacher Edition 2003. Is it possible to
install it on my notebook and still have both Works and
Office functioning side by side ? Or will teh installation
of Offfice overwrite the works system?
Thanks

They are two different/distinct products and can co-exist. You'll
likely never touch Words again, though.

Yes, you can install OFFICE and WORKS on one computer. They
will install to different folders and can be opened at same
time.
You can install OFFICE on your laptop and your desktop at
same time.
