xp sp2,cannot find symantec server

im running windows xp with service pack 2,have just bought nav2004 and
installed ok but could not register.live update will not run and virus
definitions are out of date.I cant log on to any symantec support pages to
sort problem.error message comes up cannot find server or dns error.now nav
shuts down and error message says integrator wont load or something.I fix
cars not computers!please help someone!!!!

can you get to the internet at all?
if not- then it is something internet related
if yes- then uninstall the program and reinstall it and see if that helps
if that doesn't work on the back of the book that comes with norton is a
number to call them

also make sure you turn off the xp2 firewall because that could be not
allowing you to get to live update
