After installing SP2 I had some computer issues. So I uninstalled the
update. Now all is well again, except that my system properties window
still indicates that SP2 is installed. The same is true if I boot in Safe
Mode. Also, when I go to the Microsoft update site and check for critical
updates it does not indicate the SP2 update as I believe it should.
Installation history also does not acknowledge the uninstall. Any ideas?

Hi

If typing the following from Start>Run

winver

and right clicking My Computer and choosing Properties show references to
SP2, then it couldn't have been uninstalled. Is there an entry in
Add/Remove Programs that references SP2?
