SP2: can't access cpanel, shortcuts and mypc

Yesterday installed SP2 and now everything works horrible.
Double clicking Mypc, or Cpanel or any shortcut hangs the pc,
(runing programs from start menu works only)

I disabled firewall assuming that would be the cause but didn't work either.
Any help?

Uninstalled the great SP2 and everything is working now...
A great waste of time...
