cannot seem to turn on Firewall after downloading SP2

HI ,

can anyone advice me as how I can turn on the firewall on
Windows XP. The message was Windows cannot start Windows
Firewall/Internet connection sharing services.

I have just upgraded to SP2.

Any advice is most appreciated.
