View Full Version : After SP2 install - system locks up forcing power down

Auto Update installed SP2. Since then, my system
periodically locks up. The only resolution is to power
down.

I suspect it to be a memory/cache related problem. I
have plenty of disk space so I don't perceive that as an
issue.

This is (obviously) not acceptable! Is there a solution
to this problem?

Hi

Have you had a look in the Event Viewer to see if there any entries that may
point towards the problem? Do you see any error messages and are you using
any particular program just prior to the freezing?
