After installing SP2 I had some computer issues. So I uninstalled the
update. Now all is well again, except that my system properties window
still indicates that SP2 is installed. The same is true if I boot in Safe
Mode. Also, when I go to the Microsoft update site and check for critical
updates it does not indicate the SP2 update as I believe it should.
Installation history also does not acknowledge the uninstall. Any ideas?

It seems as though SP-2 is installed.
What SP-2 features remain?

The only thing I notice is that I still get the Sp2 file download
notification bar across the top of the IE window. Everything else seems
normal, except like I mentioned before when SP2 appears in my system
properties window and also across the top of the screen when in Safe Mode.
