I have been following this newsgroup for about half a month and I can already tell that there are some major issues with SP2. My computer was set up to automatically download updates (its a new laptop) and I did not realize that it downloaded SP2 until it went to install on my computer. I feel that I am not ready to install SP2 until it becomes more stable (unless I'm just being over protective of my computer) and was wondering what I might do to erase the downloaded version of SP2 for the time being?

Jason;
Turn off Automatic Update:
Right click My Computer
Click Properties
Click Automatic Update tab
Make appropriate selection.
Perform step 5 to delete what has been downloaded:

Do not simply wait for SP-2 to become more stable.
The SP-2 of today is the same as SP-2 in a year.
Instead research for possible hardware and software issues.
Also be sure your computer is ready for SP-2:
