sp2 MPService

Downloaded sp2 went to print with Canon 190 scanner printer, message box told
me "Unable to communicate with the device. Please start "MPService" from the
Services applet in the Control Panel. Then please right-click on the Status
Monitor to Reconnect and try again. Has anyone had the same problem and how
do I fix this.
