I cant seem to figure out this. How can I have shared
documents show ,on the right side,when I click the start
button. I see my documents, my music, my pictures, my
computor-but I want to add my shared documents- can it be
done???thnks

Nope. You can redirect "My Documents" to what ever you like but you can't
add that . You could add a link to your Favorites.

You can create a shortcut to SharedDocs and put that on the desktop....

My Computer -> right click on SharedDocs folder and select "Create
Shortcut".

It will complain and offer to create one on the desktop instead.

(Note: Creating this shortcut by another route can cause problems)

You can't add it to the location you want, but there are a couple of
options. See www.kellys-korner-xp.com/xp_tweaks.htm

You can replace My Music, or My Pictures, with a folder of your choice, with
the edits Line 2, right column. Select MM or MP as appropriate for the
folder you wish to replace.

You can also use the edit on line 180, left column, to add a new folder
under the Run command on the New Start Menu.
