Taskbar missing all "buttons" (running programs) after sp2

Hi,

I just upgraded my XP to sp2. Now no running programs
show up in taskbar.

I have unlocked taskbar and pulled it up all the way (30%
of screen) and don't see any icons.

Also, if under options I uncheck quicklaunch the whole
taskbar disappears.

Any help is much appreciated!

This generally has to do with WMP. Either way:
