Hi

After running Norton, it appears that the file sysdpt.exe
is infected. Norton was not able to delete it.
Can I delete this file without damaging my computer ?
Or should I do something else

Thank you

Trojan is a generic term for a particular type of infection. Norton is not
giving you a specific name for the trojan it has detected on your system?
Check for the name in Norton's log file if it is not shown in the
notification screen. You need the name of the trojan to look it up at
www.sarc.com so that you can find specific removal directions. (Every
trojan is different. There is no one set of directions that works for all
of them.)

If you are only getting a generic "trojan" identified, I suggest that you
quarantine the file and contact Symantec technical support for further
assistance.
