After installing SP2, on one of my computers it can no
longer access the internet. I use a netgear ethernet card
connected to a cable modem to get my connection.

I have gone to network connections in the control panel to
try and troubleshoot the problm, but no connections are
displayed.

When I try to setup a new connection, I use the "connect
using a broadband connection that is always on - which
just gives me a message "your broadband connection should
already be configured and ready to use". It advies me to
click on a link if my connection is not working properly.
However, this help tells me to open network connections
and under LAN click the connection I want to repair, but
like I said this is where I started and no LAN option (or
any other options) are displayed!

I have also gone to device manager to look at the netgear
card and its status is listed as "this device is working
properly".

Any help or insights would be appreciated!
