I've seen numerous post's on Google groups on how to start winxp in
dos mode. What you can do is simply create a ms-dos startup disk. You
then stick the floppy in the computer and boot it up. Ms-dos then
comes up instead of winxp.
To create a ms-dos startup disk press F1 to bring up winxp's help &
support. Then search for ms-dos startup disk. Then look in the
searched results for create a ms-dos startup disk. Follow the onscreen
instructions.
Hopefully that was what you were looking for.
