View Full Version : No sound and put in the sound cd 3 times

anything from gateway if that's the best they can do.
if the yellow sign is up next to your sound on the device
manager then that means it's the device driver. so what
you can do is go back to device manager right click on
sounds, click properties, click driver tab,then click
uninstall driver. dont worry when you reboot windows will
detect it and load the driver back into the system. if
that doesn't then you might have to go to the sound card
or motherboard manufactuerer,s website and update the
driver. gateway should have that info for you. i hope

That's not necessarily the case. We have no idea what soundcard she has and
whether or not XP has current drivers for it.
