We have a group policy configured via servers running 2k after we down loaded
sp2 to the client machines it seems that none of the security settings in our
group policies are being applied . This in effect stops microsoft project
from running and the content advisor in autocad to stop functioning..Even
after setting the gbui htm from micro project into the "safe" sites this does
not have any effect . When we changed the settings in our group policy yes
great it worked for about 30mins then back to the same error.Does sp2
internet security settings override and group policy???Thanks

Hi

No, sp2 security settings does not override group policy.

I would guess you have a DNS issue of some sort.

Take a look in the event logs (Start/Run --> eventvwr.msc)

Also, run gpresult.exe in a command prompt.

I suggest you redirect to a text file, like this:

gpresult.exe >gpresult.txt
