Sound Failure after SP2

The sound doesn't work after SP2 install but only after the computer idles
and comes back from the screen saver. After reboot it works fine until it
idles again. I did reinstall the driver for the sound card and got an update
from the manufacturer as well. I also went through the other tips from this
board. Any other ideas?

Right My Computer > Properties > Hardware (tab) > Device Manager > expand
your "Sound or Audio Control", right click it > Properties and roll back the
device driver.
