Adding Backup to XP

How can I add the WIN XP backup utility to my Compaq Notebook? I don't have
an XP disk as the OS was pre-installed.

I have the backup program installed on my XP desktop and I would like to be
able to backup and install to and from each system.

Dave, I can't say about your Compaq, but on my Toshiba (also
pre-installed) I found it at C:\WINDOWS\Valueadd\Msft\Ntbackup. I just
d-clicked the program there and it installed the program. The logic of
arranging this little hunt, rather than just doing the installation,
escapes me...
