I received this as a STOP error after installing SP2. Nothing else has
changed. I searched on the knowledge base and none of the errors they have
on there seem to be exactly the same as mine. Has anyone got a clue or seen
this before:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x00000010, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xF9DF7926)

SYMIDS.SYS- Address F9DF7926 base at F9DF2000, DateStamp 411d70dd

Thanks for any help you can give.

Katie

Yes, I have seen all of those. The problem is that I am having a problem
that is not with one of the articles is an exact match and I can't seem to
find any with my same error. Sure, it is the same basic error (0xD1), but
not the same, I guess it's cause?.

STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x00000010, 0x00000002, 0x00000000, 0xF9DF7926)

SYMIDS.SYS- Address F9DF7926 base at F9DF2000, DateStamp 411d70dd

Anybody else know?

Thanks

Hi Kate,

I got that same error after installing Norton. the filename
"symids.sys" is from Norton. I just went to the autoupdate and they
updated that file as of 10-15-04. I no longer get the dreaded blue
screen.

Hope it helps....

Mark
