Keyboard Keys Transposed

I have restored my original XP HomeEdition OS but have
now found that the @ key and the " have been transposed.
Any ideas how to put this right?

Hi Bee Dee,

Control Panel/Regional and Language options/Languages tab, click "details".
Check that you have the right keyboard language version installed.
