I thought XP Pro came with a text to speech option. Where is it?

It's called Narrator. It is rather primitive compared to other such
programs but is handy.

Also I believe the Microsoft 'Plus for Windows XP' has some speech add on's
like voice control and voice to text for typing word documents.
