SP2 Won't Install

I have tried several times to install SP2 for Windows XP. The process gets
to "Creating Third Party Driver List" and won't go any further. When I
abort the installation, the installation programs has quit responding.

Any ideas?

Jeff, install SP2 off-line by first disabling your anti-virus program and
booting
in Safe Mode:
"How to Boot in Safe Mode"
