I've reinstalled Windows XP Home Edition about two weeks
ago. Suddenly, since yesterday, I can not reboot. I keep
receiving the message :
NTDLR is missing
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart
After the message:
Searching for Boot REcord from IDE-0..OK
Can someone help me get aroud that?
By the way, when I start the recovery console, it seems
like my operating system [which was on drive C], is now on
drive D and what was on D is now on C ???

Hi Michel,
From the Recovery Console command prompt, copy the ntldr (not ntdlr) from
the I386 folder on the WinXP CD to the root of C:\
copy X:\I386\ntldr C:\
(where X represents whatever letter is assigned your CD drive).

I think perhaps you have two hard disks, but only one disk drive has the
NT boot loader on it. Try switching your boot device in the BIOS setup
and see if the NT boot loader can be found on the other disk.
