Removing Start up programs

Hello,

Is there a way of removing the start up programs which
appear at the bottom right of the screen, the ones that
load up automatically?

Only its taking 5 minutes to load them and I only use a
couple of them.

Remove them from the startup folder or use MSCONFIG if they are started
