I have a Logitech cordless Optical mouse and when I try to log onto my
computer in Safe Mode,
when it gets to the log in page asking me whether
I want to log on as 1) Administrator or 2) Michael Mauzey, my mouse quits
working and I can't click
on Administrator. I have to unplug my computer and let it reboot to Windows
normally ... any suggestions on how I can get past this and be able to log
on as Administrator so that I can log on in the Safe Mode? Thanks ...

Hi,

Try the tab key, and <enter> when admin is highlighted.

Alternately, hit ctrl+alt+delete twice to bring up the Win2000-style login
screen. You should be able to use the tab, enter, and arrow keys here to
enter the admin login information.

yes, it is hooked up to a USB port ... is that the problem? I have the
regular microsoft mouse ... should I hook that up first and then try to get
into the Safe Mode? I thought about that but dismissed it cuz' I don't know
enough.
