No Memory

We recently install Windows XP Pro and now find that when
at a site such as our Library our account numbers, which
used to pop up in a box after entering just the first
letter, don't show up and we have to retype each time,
which is a pain.
I realize I am quite dumb around a computer and would
appreciate any suggestions.

Right-click your browser icon, properties, content tab, auto-complete, tick the forms
box.
