I just finished installing Service Pack 2.

On restart the desktop appears momentarily then disappears. Norton
anti-virus pops up in separate window. When closed there is nothing
left on the desktop.

That includes all desktop icons, folders, trash, start/taskbar -- all
that appears is the wallpaper.

Can't seem to enter set-up on reboot to go to an earlier
configuration.

Thoughts?
