View Full Version : XP Install and Printer Question!

I have two questions for the group:

First:
I would like to install XP Home on a second computer that I am just
rebuilding. This would be part of a two computer home network system that
is presently using ME. XP is super and I have the program CD and the SP1 CD
and it is installed and licensed on this computer - no problem. Is it
possible to get an additional license to install this OS on my second
computer without having to purchase a completely new program set? I would
expect to pay a license fee and would be willing to do so if the cost is
reasonable. I just don't know how or where to inquire about this question.

Second:
For what ever reason, my printer has started to print any email pages in
larger than normal (?) font size. I have attempted to change the printer
format and cannot seem to locate a way to change/reduce the default font
size. Does anyone have an approach to correcting or dealing with this
problem?

Thanks to all,
Cal

Yes, it's possible. No, it's not reasonable. You can almost
certainly do better buying an entire second copy from a discount
source.

OE uses IE's printer settings. Open an Internet Explorer window and click
View | Text Size. Also check the printer settings under the File menu in
IE.

I'm sure there's a perfectly logical reason why it must be done this way -
but I don't know that reason. ;^{
