Hi,

Every since I've upgraded to SP2, XP Home SP2 takes a long time to boot.
This doesn't happen everytime but it happens 90% of the time. So I open
Event Viewer to see what is hanging. I find alot of entires that say
"Timeout (30000 milliseconds) waiting for a transaction response from the
<such and such> Service."

Any idea?

Thanks!

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type: SFC /SCANNOW
