that i have already removed, I had problems getting rid of it but eventually
did it.
The program was Adobe Acrobat 5 105mB, I have unistalled or deleted
everything to do with it but it is still listed under add or remove programs
and says its taking up 105mB.

Edit the registry. Go to:
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\windows\current version\uninstall Find your program
and delete it.

JSW,
After reviewing my first post, I thought a little more info may be useful;
Go to START/ RUN, AND WHEN WINDOWS COME UP TYPE REGEDIT.
When regedit windows comes up go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Uninstall
There you can see folders have numbers as name at left panel. Click on every
folder. when click on each folder in the right panel you can see a key
called "displayName" and next to it the name of a program that have an entry
in list of ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS.
When you find the name you want, just delete that number on the left panel,
and you done.
Additionally, the easiest way to do that is to download a program from
Microsoft called TWEAKUI.
You can download the file from here:
