i am trying to install a game and when i hit the install button it says
C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. the system file is not suitable for running
MS-DOS and microsoft windows aplications choose close to terminate this
aplication.
any help would be nice. i think its because it is an older game. is there a
way i can run it like in windows 98? thx...

In addition problems with autoexec.nt can be caused by a Trojan
installing a file windupdater.exe and creating registry entries for that
file.

AVAST (free antivirus software) can be the cause if SP2 is installed:

You can put back the standard version of autoexec.nt by copying a backup
copy held in windows\repair to windows\system32.
