I used a idle desktop as my team's shared public folder.
but there is often a prompt of access limit when some of
my colleagues link to that desktop, I don't know what the
limit is and how to optimize it by changing the
configuration of Windows? Does anybody know the hints of
that and kindly give your hand?

Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot!

But do you have a way to extend the limit to 20, or more?

John,

one way is to avoid keeping unneeded connections open.

Another way is to buy and install a server operating system.
