I set up a home network between my two pcs using the xp pro wizard. One was
also hooked up to the www and the other accessed the internet using the
network. It stopped working yesterday. I have given both machines a fixed
address & subnet which reestablished the network, but now I cannot access the
internet via the machine not directing hooked up. How do I fix this??

assuming you use ics, can you ping the ics host? if yes, can you ping a
public ip?
