Hi
Ever since I installed SP2 (from a CD off a certified UK magazine)
When looking at 'help/about' - Internet Explorer is listed as being
part of Service Pack 2.
Internet Explorer 6 crashes sporadically. Some days it
doesn't happen - others 2 or 3.
I can have maybe 3 windows open or 10 - without warning
they all just shut down together.
Norton is not picking up on this.
I have not installed anything new.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks in advance - Stephen

You might consider un-installing SP2 and then complete a restore to
the day previous to the SP2 installation. If the problem persists ...
then you know it wasn't SP2. Or vice versa. I removed SP2 from
several machines just because it took less time and less aggravation.

Stephen:
I've been working through the same problems. Except I've been using
Netscape. Go to the Microsoft XP website, and type in your problem with
the browser crashing on an index search. What I came up with was spyware
was conflicting with the browser. Microsoft will recommend downloading
Ad-Aware, and Spybot to find the spyware and eliminate it. You may need
to un-install SP-2 first. Run the spyware. Then re-install SP-2.
It should solve your problem.

Hi I also am having the same problem. I have done what you have said by
uninstalling and doing the spyware scan and restoring to where I was before
SP2. But IE still keeps crashing :( Any other advise?
