FTP Folders not working after installing XP SP2

Since installing XP SP2 I cannot connect to FTP sites as it is now sending an
FTP site and an FTP syst commands which my company blocks as this is a
security risk. Before installing SP2 I was able to connect to my FTP site as
it never sent those commands. QUESTION how do I stop FTP folders from sending
those requests?

IE, tools menu, options, advanced tab has two checkboxes about ftp. You
might try changing those.
