Hi all,

I've got a computer running Windows XP Professional. It has a network card
that used to work fine, then it suddenly stopped being detected by the
computer, and it behaved like that even after several resets. Then, it worked
fine again some days later. No viruses have been detected at the computer,
and the antivirus program is updated. Anybody suffered a similar experience?

Best regards

Xuquer,
When the network card "disappeared" was it still being displayed in your
POST screen? (the hardware list just after your computer boots up)

Does it share an IRQ at all with another device on the system? and is it
inbuilt or is it a PCI card?

Also, when you say it "disappeared", do you mean it stopped working, or it
stopped displaying in Device Manager?
