This service pack 2 really screws things up. After installing SP2 I can't
connect to any network connection, including onboard ethernet, wireless and
PCM/CIA wireless card. Tried updating to the latest drivers (did not work).
I make a connection, but when I look at status I see no packets incoming or
outgoing. Connection shows limited or no connecivity and can never aquire an
ip adress automatically. Even If I enter an IP manually I still can't
communicate on the network. Tried the KB884020 fix and also that registry
hack (no go).

Also when Wireless Network Connection sees an access point, it automaticall
picks it up as security enabled when it is not.

Microsoft Team,
When you said this service pack would secure the OS, you weren't kidding.
It is so secure that nobody can see it on the network, because it's not on
the network.
