View Full Version : XP Pro networking problem

I've got a XP Pro machine, with a 3com 905b-tx network card in it.
I can set the ip address and sub group, workgroup name, no firewall,
etc. and it will not see the other machines (nor they see it) in my
little network. The lights on the network card light up, the light
lites up on the hub but nothing's there.

I've switched the cable and nic between a couple machines and the cable and
nic are working fine on other machines.

I've ran the winsockxpfix and check all I can think of.

I can't even ping from the machine, or to the machine.
