I am looking for suggestions on how to remove WinXP SP2 on a new system that
came with it preinstalled? There is no "Windows XP Service Pack 2" update to
remove using the Add/Remove Programs tool in the Control Panel nor an
associated $NtServicePackUninstall$ folder, as instructed in Article ID
875350.

SP2 cannot be removed from Windows XP if it came
preinstalled on a new computer.

You cannot uninstall SP2 with a preinstalled system. But, my question is, why
would you want to uninstall it??? If you are having problems with it, post
them
here.
