Saving to a CD writer

Hey ,
I was a HP technician .Can u tell me what model of HP
computer ur having and which software ur using to write or
copy the files to CD. Are you just copying and pasting the
file in the cd area or ?????
Also i wanna know whether its a CD writer or DVD/CD
combo drive.
I need those specifiations to give u specific
instructions to clear the problem .

It is possible he does not have the software installed to write to CDRW disk
such as InCD with Nero.
