Hello,
I use MSN Messenger 3.6 on my notebook, and now there is always a
message that says that I have to install MSN 6. I have MSN 6 on my other
pc, but for my notebook, it's much to slow, because of all the graphical
effects, and on 640x480 screen resolution much too big.
What happens if I don't upgrade? Can I stop these messages? Why do they
do that?
Thank you,
Jens

Greetings Jens,
If you don't upgrade, then you will no longer be able to login to Messenger. You might try
MSN Messenger 5 instead, which uses the "old" interface:

Thanks, better than 6. But I don't understand why oder ones are not
supported any more.

Hi Jens,
It has to do with a security problem in the older clients, they just won't be able to connect
(in about a month).
