I installed Windows XP Home Ed. Service Pack 2. Immediately after
installation, I started getting a "failed installation" error for MS Money. I
do not have Money installed. I tried to remove the newly installed software
(Money update), but could not. I found a procedure on the MS site for
removing the software Installer. This procedure took care of most of my
problem, in that it stopped the computer from locking up on the install error
ever time I restarted the machine. HOWEVER, I am still getting screen of some
kind to flash when I use the mouse buttons. Anyone have any ideas on how to
trap this ghost, or get rid of it?
