I have an old pc running win 98. I purchased a new one
running winXP. How do I get my data from the old to the
new?
Thanks for any help,

Hi D,
I used Detto Intellimover with my most recent new computer, and it worked
really well for me. Before that, I used Zip disks to copy files and folders
from my old computer to a new one. (And before that, I used lots of
floppies...)

The File and Settings Transfer Wizard will let you create a disk you can
carry over to your Win98 machine and collect all of your files and settings.
You have to have some mechanism to connect the two devices - either
immediate (network cable or direct cable connection) or delayed (removable
disks) but this tool will help make sure that you keep as much of your
configuration as you can.
