Hi,
I'm having an issue with using remote assistance. When
someone tries to sent me an invite, I get the following
message:
"The invitation from <user who send> to start Remote
Assistance was declined. The program is disabled or is
not installed on your computer."
I tried uninstalling and re-installing Windows Messenger
v4.7 to no avail since I notice that the remote
assistance feature relies on Windows Messenger. I had
some problems with Messenger crashing and went through
several install/uninstall of Windows Messenger and MSN
Messenger. I think these actions somehow got the who
thing confused. Anyway, I would appreciate any
information to "re-enable" the remote assistance feature
without having to do a full operating system re-install.
Any assistance would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Brian
