Hi there,

I recently uninstalled messenger using the following
command line:

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%
\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

Now I need to get it back. If anybody could offer any
help or assistance it would be most appreciated.

Simon.

Hey Simon,

Maybe you can try downloading the latest MSN Messenger from the offical MSN
Messenger website:
http://messenger.msn.com/

I hope this is the information you requested ;)

Regards,
Jose Francisco

Greetings Jose,

Keep in mind this is for MSN Messenger -- not Windows Messenger (there is a link to Windows
Messenger, but it's pretty hidden in the site).

Greetings Simon,

You can find Windows Messenger 4.7 here (what you had before executing that command):
http://g.msn.com/5meen_us/121?plcid=0409

or you can install the newer Windows Messenger 5 (keep in mind that Windows Messenger 5 does
not have support for MSN Hotmail, MSN Mobile, or the other MSN features):

Thank you Jonathan & Jose for your replies. Windows
Messenger was the one I'm after, so downloading v5 from
your link Jonathan & will give that a go. Cheers,

Simon.
