Standby mode problems after SP2

[McMogul]

After installing SP2 my desktop has stopped entering standby mode. Does
anyone have any software that will tell me what is running that prevents
standby mode activation?

Usually its the display driver that prevents standby mode,go to the mfg web
site for the display adapter,install latest drivers/software.

probably your modem is letting the computer wake on modem
telling it too.
damn code writers did this crap in october too last year
