Windows Xp SP2 Activation Problem

I am repeatedly being asked to activate Windows whenever i switch the
computer on. I carry out the activation and every time it activates
successfully, until i restart the machine where i am prompted to activate
windows... again.

I have tried the "regsvr32.exe regwizc.dll" and "regsvr.exe licdll" in safe
mode, but still the activation problem persists. I have made NO hardware
changes (no additions or removals at all), and the machine was working fine
until last week.

and help or advise would be greatly appreciated

Preinstalled xp system use the key on the back of the machine. All
others use the same key, that you used to install windows xp. Click

Hi
I tried what you suggested but am still having the same problem. I even
tried activating by phone, ringing up, acquiring and entering an activation
ID.

I have also tried "fresh activation" by deleting the wpa.dbl and wpa.bak
files and trying to activate that way, but the result is the same and the
problem persists.

is there any other way?

The only way is to do a clean install. That I know of.
Maybe someelse has a better idea.
