Hi there,
There's this particular file, that starts up randomly at times WM is
running, and other times while it isnt. The file wisptis.exe, I believe, is
associated with Windows Messenger 5.0. Description of the file is Microsoft
Tablet PC Platform Component, and I am not aware of any software on my
system that requires this process. I've searched the internet but to no
avail. I'm curious why it started, and what triggered the process to start.
Thanx for your input.
Regards
Jose Francisco

Hey Sum,
If I am correct there is a new feature in Windows Messenger 5.0 that allows
users to use ink (what I mean users who have a graphic tablet or a tablet
pc) to send messages with. This might be a component needed to run Windows
Messenger 5.0
If I'm wrong someone do correct me ;)
Regards,
Jose Francisco

Hi Jose,
You're exactly correct -- the wisptis.exe (Windows Ink Services for Pen, Tablet Input
Subsystem, wisptis) handles all the Tablet PC support.
