MSN 6 Keeps signing out - Why?

I am having serious problems with MSN 6. Ever since we got the message that
we needed to upgrade it has all gone pear shape.

I did the upgrade as instructed, we all now run MSN 6, but we now have the
constant signing out problem that nobody seems to have addressed!!

Yes I am running through a firewall - Symantec 200r, using a cable modem!!

When I go onto the Connections tab in options, it shows that I am connected
dirctly to the internet and that I do not have a firewall.

It only started since the install of MSN6, If I uninstall and go back to 4.7
or even 5 I still have this problem.

How do we fix this damn irritating problem?

By the way - A clean install of Winxp, MSN6 on the same network works fine.
So it has to be something that has happened since we upgraded.

Please give me some kind of help on this one.

Did you uncheck the option to scan messages in messenger in Norton
Antivirus? I gt rid of my problems as soon as I had done this.

[All Of A Sudden]

I do not use the norton rubbish. Windows XP is enough bloat ware without
having more of the rubbish on. I use the Free AVG, hardly notice that it is
there!!
