msn mess 6.0

Hello, I have a linksys router model # befsr41 and I was
wondering if anyone knew the proper ports to assign in
the router for msn messenger 6.0. I've upgraded from 4.7
but can't get file transfer to work with 6.0 on the ports
that I have for 4.7. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.

You do not need to open any ports -- but you will need to upgrade the firmware on your
BEFSR41 here:
http://www.linksys.com/download

After installing the latest firmware, be sure to reboot before trying Messenger again.
